We’ve been saying this since June , and Elon Musk’s tweet today is a reminder. Owning the libs is fun, but let’s dial back the hero worship. While it’s great that he brought back The Babylon Bee and Jordan Peterson, his announcement in doing so left a lot to be desired. New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach.
Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter.
You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet.
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 18, 2022 Dude, throttling (or reducing reach) is the problem. That the rest of the internet does it now IS the f*cking problem. They throttle what the EMPLOYEES OF THE COMPANY think are “negative” and/or ‘hate.” And more often than not it’s defined by the Biden Administration .We saw the leaked Slack messages over the summer about yeeting Libs of TikTok off of the platform. Elon saw them, too, because he commented and came to her defense .
People who work for Twitter, Facebook, etc. thought Hunter Biden’s laptop, any question about election results, any question about a public health crisis, and getting the gender wrong of a Biden official were all “outrageous.” Does Elon agree with limited reach for those opinions?
In June, Biden’s climate advisor demanded Big Tech start censoring what she called “disinformation” about clean energy . Like, say, all of Joe Biden’s policies that may or may not be causing skyrocketing gas prices. Or criticizing skyrocketing gas prices. Does Elon Musk, who owns an electric vehicle company, agree any of those “outrageous” opinions should have limited reach?
Who defines what’s “negative” or “hate” not that Elon Musk takes control? The problem now is the […]

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
