ADVERTISEMENT A judge has ruled that a lawsuit brought by Pennsylvania moms against their children’s first-grade teacher will be allowed to proceed, striking down a motion asking the court to dismiss the case.
The moms’ lawsuit alleges that by discussing gender dysphoria and transitioning with her students, the teacher, Megan Williams, violated district policy, state law, and the Constitution. The Mount Lebanon School District, its superintendent, and school board are also named, as well as officials at Jefferson Elementary School. According to Fox News , Senior US District Judge Joy Flowers Conti ruled on October 27 that the moms, Carmilla Tatel, Stacy Dunn, and Gretchen Melton, had “sufficient reason to allege their constitutional rights were violated if their claims are true.”
In the lawsuit, they claim that by providing instruction on gender-related topics to her students without parents’ consent, Williams violated their 14th Amendment rights, as well as their right to religious freedom.
The moms also noted that Williams, who has a child that identifies as transgender , “began the process of interjecting her own personal life and views into the classroom” and “explained to her students that sometimes ‘parents are wrong’ and parents and doctors ‘make mistakes’ when they bring a child home from the hospital.”

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
