From the category of “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” comes this story from over the weekend. Admit it, watching poetic justice hit a pompous Biden Administration official squarely in the face can’t help but make you smile.
Airlines across the country, like just about every other industry in America, have been struggling for over a year now to properly staff their operations. They just can’t get enough people to come work for them, and with the employees that they have hired, they’re experiencing high levels of absenteeism. And there are several reasons why.
We have the Biden Administration’s “American Rescue Plan” which provided handouts to millions of would-be workers and paid them for doing nothing. Then there was the repeated extension of unemployment benefits by Mr. Biden, which incentivized workers to just stay home. And of course, we have the ridiculously high price of gas which makes it much more expensive for an employee to get to work. All these issues and more have resulted in the wage-price-spiral that we see today. Inflation is skyrocketing because employers must pay employees more to come work for them. But then that additional money employees have is worth less because of high prices. In addition to inflation, the other problem we see is a deterioration in quality, particularly in the service industries such as transportation. And that reality hit home this past weekend with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
