Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has called out Jen Psaki in response to reports that the White House press secretary is leaving for a job at MSNBC .
Boebert slammed Psaki by comparing her to former White House press secretary and current Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany.
“The only thing Jen Psaki did as press secretary was prove to America how much better Kayleigh McEnany was,” Boebert pointed out.
“Psaki goes to the one place with lower ratings than the White House, perfectly done madame,” the congresswoman added. Boebert also fired back at Nancy Pelosi after the Democrat House speaker took a swipe at Clarence Thomas’s wife Ginni: “So Nancy Pelosi now cares about the ethical standards of spouses?
“That’s rich considering her husband has made a fortune off of her position and inside information.
When grilled if it was “ethical” for her to continue her job at the White House while negotiating with MSNBC, Psaki said:
“Well, I have always gone over and above the stringent ethical and legal requirements of the Biden administration and I take that very seriously.
“As a standard for every employee at the White House, I have received rigorous ethics counseling as it relates to any future employment.“I’ve complied with all ethics requirements and gone beyond and taken steps to reduce myself from decisions as appropriate.“I have nothing to confirm about my length of public service or planned service or anything about consideration about next plans.” Axios reported earlier Psaki has not yet formally told the White House press team about her departure, an administration source tells Axios. They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
