Photo by Joel C Ryan/Invision/AP The other day, Adele got in a bit of trouble for the grave sin of being proud to be a woman.
As my colleague Brandon Morse explained , despite not saying anything about the trans movement or anything except how much she loves being a woman, the Artist of the Year was attacked online by trans activists. Did Adele say that she hates the transgender community? No. Did she say that women are women and men can’t be women? Nope. The accusation is that by Adele saying she likes being a woman, she’s implying all sorts of negative things about transgenderism. This is a ridiculous take by ridiculous people, who seem to be more concerned about finding an excuse to feel victimized than living in the real world and taking people’s words as they are. This is, of course, crazy. Adele made her comment about womanhood while receiving Artist of the Year at the Brit Awards. It is an award that used to be gendered – there was a Male Artist of the Year and Female Artist of the Year, but the two were combined into one award. That means that Adele was the best artist of the year out of all men and all women who qualified. That’s a huge honor and as a woman in a still largely male-dominated industry, that’s amazing.
But because she said “I understand why the name of this award has changed but I really love being a woman and being a female artist,” she apparently had to be dragged online. It’s completely nonsensical.
There is, however, something positive to note in all this. If they are this upset over these comments, then they clearly aren’t winning the culture war after all.
You don’t lose your mind and call a successful woman […]
We Often Feel Like David Taking on Giants
Today’s Goliath is the Mainstream Media Industrial Complex that brainwashes the masses.
Our mission is very straightforward: To counter the false narratives and nefarious agendas destroying America today. It isn’t easy for obvious reasons; despite incredible growth over the last year we are still a very tiny fish in a huge media pond. But we’re fighting and we will continue to do so, Lord willing, for as long as we possibly can. The battle for America’s present and future is too important for us to back down to the giants that stand in our way.
We need help. I don’t want to say “desperately,” but the need is definitely great. If you have the means, please donate through our GivingFuel page, PayPal, or our Substack page. Your generosity is what keeps these sites running and allows us to get the truth to the masses. We’ve had great success in growing but we know we can do more with your assistance.
Thank you, and God Bless!
