Chicago, IL – Four people were killed and four more were hospitalized with gunshot wounds on Tuesday morning following the second mass shooting to take place in Chicago in just four days.
The latest attack occurred near the intersection of Morgan Street and 62nd Street just before 5:45 on June 15, WLS reported.
Chicago police responded to the scene after receiving a report of gunfire at that location. Investigators determined the shooting took place after an argument broke out inside a house located in the 6200-block of South Morgan, WLS reported.
A 25-year-old man and a second male victim were both rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the backs of their heads, police said.
Their conditions have not been released.
A woman was transported to University of Chicago Medical center with unspecified gunshot wounds and has been listed in critical condition, WLS reported.
A 23-year-old male victim showed up at St. Bernard Hospital with a gunshot wound to his back and was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

Four other victims were pronounced dead at the scene, WLS reported.

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
