CNN’s Don Lemon prompted millions of Americans to wonder if the end of the world was nigh after he gave an uncharacteristically rational analysis of the police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio. In fact, his exchange with fellow media activist Chris Cuomo was so out of character that it likely caused many to reflect on the accuracy of malfunctioning timepieces.
Don Lemon Chimes in on Police Shooting
On a recent airing of CNN Tonight, Lemon made remarks that went against the typical leftist demonization of police officers during a short exchange with Cuomo. He urged viewers to use “common sense” when looking at stories involving police shootings of black Americans.
“When I look at this video, I see police responding to a dangerous incident where someone is armed with a knife,” Lemon said. “Police have walked up on a situation they need to figure out what’s happening. Other lives are in danger.” He continued: “If we’re going to discuss this case, we need to be honest and use our common sense, we cannot have a double standard. We have to acknowledge that police have jobs to do.”
Outrage erupted shortly after the announcing of the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial when bodycam footage emerged showing an officer shooting Bryant as she seemed to be preparing to stab another female, who is also black. Many on the hard left attempted to promote the usual “racist cop shoots black person because everything is racist” trope despite the fact that the other girl’s life was in danger. As can be imagined, some were not too happy about Lemon’s newfound and likely short-lived common sense. The ladies of The View took umbrage at the notion that a police officer should use force to save a black girl’s life.

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
