The World Health Organization (WHO), in line with increasing evidence that the coronavirus pandemic likely had its start from a lab in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, would like to proceed with a second probe into the subject.
In fact, one WHO scientist from Denmark recently indicated that the lab leak origin was “probable.” In the stunning reversal, Dr. Peter Ben Embarek, who initially dismissed the lab leak theory as “extremely unlikely,” said he now considers the possibility a “probable hypothesis,” according to the Washington Post, which cites a documentary airing on Danish television channel TV2. “An employee who was infected in the field by taking samples falls under one of the probable hypotheses,” Ben Embarek told the interviewers. “This is where the virus jumps directly from a bat to a human. In that case, it would then be a laboratory worker instead of a random villager or other person who has regular contact with bats,” he explained. In the same interview, Embarek also admitted that China pressured independent scientific investigators to drop the hypothesis that the virus escaped from a laboratory . “In the beginning, they didn’t want anything about the lab [in the report], because it was impossible, so there was no need to waste time on that,” Ben Embarek told documentarians, according to The Washington Post. “We insisted on including it because it was part of the whole issue about where the virus originated.” Early Friday, China completely rejected WHO’s request for a renewed probe. On Thursday the WHO urged China to share raw data from the earliest Covid-19 cases to revive its probe into the origins of the disease. China hit back, repeating its position that the initial investigation was enough and that calls for further data were motivated by politics instead of scientific inquiry. “We oppose political tracing … and abandoning the joint report” issued after the WHO expert team’s Wuhan visit in January, vice foreign minister Ma Zhaoxu told reporters. “We support scientific tracing.” Later in the day, China reversed course . China reversed course later on Friday and pledged to participate in COVID-19 […]

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
