A Georgia homeowner fatally shot a naked man who tackled his 67-year-old wife off a riding lawnmower and then began attacking both of them, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, told WSB-TV . What are the details?
Deputies who responded to reports of an assault found a 25-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound to the chest in the front yard of a home in Lizella, the station said. Newsweek said the incident took place just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
The homeowner told deputies that the naked suspect tackled his wife off the riding lawnmower she was using, WSB said.
The homeowner said he tried to pull the man off his wife, but the suspect attacked him — and then started attacking his wife again, the station said.
So the husband said he retrieved his gun and shot the suspect, WSB reported. What happened to the wife and husband?
The station said the wife was taken to a hospital where she was stable and treated for her injuries. The husband — who is 66, according to Newsweek — had minor injuries and was treated at the scene, WSB said.
The suspect has not been identified pending notification of next of kin, the station added.
They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
