(AP Photo/Eric Risberg, File) We’ve seen companies going all-in on the Democratic talking points trying to attack election reform laws in places like Georgia.
They want to play “woke” as their reasoning without being held responsible for supporting false Democratic talking points against such laws.
We’re seeing this more and more. Companies used to do all they could to avoid politics, but now they are going all-in with pushing politics, while at the same time having all kinds of problems with their own actions.
But they’re now being held to account for their hypocrisy in a series of ads being put out Consumers’ Research, a consumer advocacy group, as Townhall reports.
There was Nike, who fully embraced Colin Kapernick despite his anti-police stance, but as Consumers’ Research observes, has been accused of using slave labor in China. Why is @Nike constantly political? To give them cover while they exploit foreign labor in communist China. We’re putting them on notice: https://t.co/L3M3MCYMyk pic.twitter.com/SPbRZiNtUF — Consumers’ Research (@ConsumersFirst) May 18, 2021 The group says American Airlines is attacking Texas’ voter ID law despite passengers being required to show ID in order to be able to fly. Why is @AmericanAir appeasing radical politicians? To distract from their CEO’s $10M+ payday, despite laying off thousands of workers & receiving a multi-billion-dollar bailout from the taxpayers the same year. We’re putting them on notice: https://t.co/L3M3MCYMyk pic.twitter.com/p73M42fRZO — Consumers’ Research (@ConsumersFirst) May 18, 2021 They hit Coca-Cola on accusations of forced labor. On top of that, they hit obesity and allegedly putting money into “misinformation campaigns.” Why is @CocaColaCo attacking Georgia’s voting law? To distract from the fact that their products are poisoning America’s youth and worsening the obesity epidemic. We’re putting them on notice: https://t.co/L3M3MCYMyk pic.twitter.com/gSYeexWMk5 — Consumers’ Research (@ConsumersFirst) May 18, 2021 “America Airlines shrunk legroom for passengers and laid off thousands of employees during the COVID pandemic while receiving billions in taxpayer bailouts. Coca-Cola and Nike have both been exploiting foreign, potentially forced, labor in China while American workers suffer. It is time these corporate giants were called to task. We are giving consumers a voice. […]

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
