Image: Shaun King, Kathy Hochul, Instagram Screenshots It was recently reported that left-wing activist Shaun King reportedly used $40k of donor money on a designer dog to protect him from “white supremacists.”
Following the report, King blamed liberal gun laws for him needing the dog to protect him from the “white supremacists.”
According to the Washington Free Beacon, King’s PAC, Grassroots Law, has handed over the money in a pair of payments to Potrero Performance Dogs in California.
The PAC paid Potrero $10,000 in December 2021, followed by a $30,650 payment in February 2022, the report showed.
King posted on Facebook days after the second payment about welcoming a “new member of the King family,” a Mastiff and prize show dog named Marz, in a post that has since been deleted or made private.
In a pair of Instagram posts that have also since been deleted or made private, Potrero revealed that Marz’s stay with the King family was reportedly not long-lived.
In one Instagram post, Marz has “a little too much energy to be a family dog so he came back” and then in July, Potrero posted Instagram photos of the dog winning top prize at an American Kennel Club competition.

But I need you to know this so that you understand why our family not only needs a guard dog at home, but 24/7 security wherever we go.” “White supremacists and people who’ve meant my family harm have now shown up to our last three homes. Multiple times.” “Before you talk about how I should defend myself with guns, New […]
They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
