While the Democrats criticize Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for transporting migrants to northern states, he works tirelessly trying to prepare his state for the oncoming Hurricane Ian that is already being classified as a Category 4. With experts predicting the hurricane to pummel Florida, causing upwards of $45 billion in damages, CNN’s Don Lemon decided to speak with Acting Director of the NOAA National Hurricane Center Jamie Rohme about the hurricane. But instead of asking what citizens should do or how people can keep their loved ones safe, the host decided to use the moment to talk about climate change and how it could be the cause of Hurricane Ian. The only problem, Rohme quickly shut him down, stating, “I don’t think you can link climate change to any one event.”
In the video, which can be watched below, Don Lemon seemed to care little about the millions of people who have evacuated or the multiple state of emergencies given by Governor Ron DeSantis. “Can you tell us what this is and what effect climate change has on this phenomenon?” More from Drew Berquist
Not taking the bait and turning the segment into a political debate, Jamie Rohme answered, “Well, we can come back and talk about climate change at a later time. I want to focus on the here and now. We Often Feel Like David Taking on Giants
Today’s Goliath is the Mainstream Media Industrial Complex that brainwashes the masses.
Our mission is very straightforward: To counter the false narratives and nefarious agendas destroying America today. It isn’t easy for obvious reasons; despite incredible growth over the last year we are still a very tiny fish in a huge media pond. But we’re fighting and we will continue to do so, Lord willing, for as long as we possibly can. The battle for America’s present and future is too important for us to back down to the giants that stand in our way.
We need help. I don’t want to say “desperately,” but the need is definitely great. If you have the means, please donate through our GivingFuel page, PayPal, or our Substack page. Your generosity is what keeps these sites running and allows us to get the truth to the masses. We’ve had great success in growing but we know we can do more with your assistance.
Thank you, and God Bless!
