WASHINGTON, DC – JULY 27: U.S. Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) listens during the opening hearing of the U.S. House (Select) Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol on July 27, 2021 at the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, DC. Members of law enforcement testified about the attack by supporters of former President Donald Trump on the U.S. Capitol. According to authorities, about 140 police officers were injured when they were trampled, had objects thrown at them, and sprayed with chemical irritants during the insurrection. In a tweet directed at Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the congresswoman, who was unsuccessful in her attempt for reelection this month, described Cruz as someone who will “ say anything, anytime ” on Tuesday. Cheney also called Cruz a “chameleon,” saying, “ He thinks he’s so smart no one can see through him. ”
Cruz’s response to Cheney came in the form of a GIF, a format for short videos, and depicted a scene from the television show Mad Men. The image was captioned with the phrase, “ I don’t think about you at all. “ https://t.co/MBl2pXovPL pic.twitter.com/TQCxh5OAnt — Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) August 30, 2022 The tweet from Cheney came after a video of the senator expressing support for “complete house cleaning” at the FBI was shared online by a liberal activist . In the video, the senator is heard saying that he would be in favor of such a move. They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
