Gina Carano, Bill Burr-2 “The Mandalorian” star Bill Burr said his former co-star Gina Carano’s “firing” on the hit Disney+ series wasn’t a “fair move,” and said that “liberals proved her point,” before he slammed cancel culture.
During the 53-year-old actor’s recent interview for the Hollywood Reporter , the superstar comedian was asked about Carano and if he thought the 40-year-old actress ‘ “firing was a fair move” after the “Deadpool” star lost her job on the “Star Wars” series in February 2021, then immediately signed on with The Daily Wire to make movies.
“No,” Burr responded to the question. “I thought it was funny that the liberals proved her point. They just use outrage because they don’t like your politics. As someone who considers himself liberal, it’s disappointing to see the left become how the right used to be when they went after the Dixie Chicks after they criticized George W. Bush.”
“There’s not a lot of people like that — most are just trying not to get in trouble — but there’s this small collection of lunatics — either on the right or the left, at any given moment — that cause hysteria,” he added. “And now there’s so many [media outlets] that want eyeballs, they make money off advertising, that they give attention to these crazy fringe people.” Bill Burr on cancel culture: “You can’t take one incident or one quote and say, ‘That’s who you are.’ It took me 50 years to figure out who I am and I’ve been with me for 50 f—ing years. How are you gonna figure out who I am in a joke?” https://t.co/C4L8MHYcH7

We Often Feel Like David Taking on Giants
Today’s Goliath is the Mainstream Media Industrial Complex that brainwashes the masses.
Our mission is very straightforward: To counter the false narratives and nefarious agendas destroying America today. It isn’t easy for obvious reasons; despite incredible growth over the last year we are still a very tiny fish in a huge media pond. But we’re fighting and we will continue to do so, Lord willing, for as long as we possibly can. The battle for America’s present and future is too important for us to back down to the giants that stand in our way.
We need help. I don’t want to say “desperately,” but the need is definitely great. If you have the means, please donate through our GivingFuel page, PayPal, or our Substack page. Your generosity is what keeps these sites running and allows us to get the truth to the masses. We’ve had great success in growing but we know we can do more with your assistance.
Thank you, and God Bless!
