AP Photo/Paul Beaty The trial of Jussie Smollet has certainly been a peculiar one, ranging from moments of hilarity to moments that made your eyes cross in confusion. To say Smollet’s defense was weak would be one of the most severe understatements of the year. Not only was there a check written to the Osundairo brothers to help execute the hoax, but Smollett was caught on video showing them the street corner to attack him on the day before. The prosecution also noted all the inconsistencies with Smollett’s behavior the night of the alleged incident.

Now, after two days of deliberation, an unexpectedly extended amount of time that left people scratching their heads, a verdict has finally arrived.
Jussie Smollett has been found guilty on five of the six charges he faced for disorderly conduct stemming from his filing of a false police report. #BREAKING : Jussie Smollett found guilty on FIVE of SIX counts in having staged a fake hate crime on the streets of Chicago in subzero temperatures on the night of January 29. — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) December 9, 2021 — Townhall.com (@townhallcom) December 9, 2021 Let the arguments begin, though, I don’t think many people expected or should have expected a different result. The evidence was just about as clear as it gets in this case. Smollett staged a racial hoax, claiming MAGA hat-wearing Trump supporters assaulted him outside a Subway at 2 am during a deep freeze in Chicago. Nothing about that ever made sense.
We also shouldn’t forget who rushed to pass judgment before having a single fact. That would include the current president and […]
They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
