When the people of Cuba decided socialism was no longer for them, we were waiting for the outspoken American socialists to speak out. Sen. Bernie Sanders has been surprisingly quiet for someone who regularly sang Cuba’s praises . Then there’s really popular social media influencer Rep. AOC. She joined the Black Lives Matter political organization in blaming America for what’s happening in Cuba. Rep. AOC, who works in congress as a side hustle, said that with American foreign policy ” the cruelty is the point .” Rep. AOC then stated she wants America held responsible for the trade embargo against the socialist country. What’s extraordinarily important for us to communicate as well as the actions and U.S. contributions to the suffering of Cubans on the island as well. And that is directly related to the embargo, the U.S. embargo. K.
The reason for the embargo is because we can’t trust the corrupt Cuban government to get aid to the people. Yes, the same corrupt socialist Cuban government the people are revolting against. We send aid. The Cuban government blocks the aid and keeps the money for itself. To his credit, Joe Biden even said as much during a press conference on Thursday. This was after he denounced the communism and socialism that are the real causes for what’s happening in Cuba. The White House must have gotten polling data back that said it was safe for him to do so . Either way, Biden stumbled upon a salient point. I hope he got an extra pudding.
What’s curious about Rep. AOC not understanding this is that I seem to recall a recent incident with her abuela. Rep. AOC broadcast how her abuela was living in squalor after the recent hurricane. Because another corrupt government wasn’t getting the aid to the people. Yet when conservatives attempted to raise money for her abuela , “someone” in Rep. AOC’s family turned it down. Maybe she doesn’t understand how “aid” and “helping people” work.

Our mission is very straightforward: To counter the false narratives and nefarious agendas destroying America today.
