“I wish we had a president and more leaders in Congress on the democratic side of the aisle, we have a few, but not enough willing to say that,” the Florida senator explained. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fl) slammed the Biden administration for whitewashing the Cuban fight for freedom as he joined Sean Hannity on Fox News Monday night to provide updates after thousands of Cubans take to the streets to put an end to the Castro dictatorship.
Rubio is a first generation American, and a son of Cuban immigrants. “I don’t know why it’s so hard for them to criticize Marxists,” Rubio said. “Look, I do think, and it’s pretty clear that there are people out there that aren’t saying anything. And the president took a whole day to say this. As he finally said stuff, he still left out the words marxist and communist and socialist.”
“Well, you just described the murderous nature of the Castro regime,” Rubio said to Hannity. “That’s the way every Marxist regime has always been.” Sen. Give us the power to crush the oppressors, and if you give us the power, we’re going to give you security. We’re going to give you a stable economy. We’re going to give you all the things you need.’ But the price of that of course is your freedom.”
“So they win and then what happens? You don’t get those things and you don’t get your freedom back. And then if you complain about it, they crack your head open, they put you in jail, they exile you, or they kill you and that’s what’s happening. And that’s what happens everywhere, all the time. They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
