Phoenix, AZ – Auditors are making great strides as they are now breaking down counting tables to make room for more scanning tables. “The hand recount here in Arizona is entering the final stages as they near completion. As the auditors near completion, the are re-configuring the audit floor to make room for more scanning stations. The scanning process has fallen behind the counting process as there have been more tables for counting than scanning. We can see that the auditors have removed the yellow counting tables and are in the process of replacing them with scanning tables. Prior to the adjustment, the volunteers were counting nearly an entire pallet of ballots every day. Currently there are about 7 pallets left to be counted. The counting will likely slow since they’ve reduced the number of counting tables. So we can expect the hand recount to complete, possibly, as early as next week. I expect the results of the hand recount to be announced immediately.” – Christina Bobb
The scanning process will then drastically speed up as the entire audit floor will be dedicated to scanning, which could complete a few weeks later. I also expect any tangible results from the scan to be announced immediately. The full forensic audit will be completed and published later this summer. The herculean effort by Arizona to audit their vote has garnered attention from around the country. Pennsylvania is now working to audit the votes of the commonwealth and Georgia is sending a delegation to tour the audit as well. There are rumblings of at least one other state that may be visiting the Arizona audit to see if they want to replicate it in their states.” – Christina Bobb
