An author, pastor, and radio host who champions the pro-life cause is calling on the Church to get more involved in an important part of their communities.
Pastor Joseph Parker, author of ” A Pastor’s Notes: God Calls the Church to Stand Boldly for Life ” and host of ” The Hour of Intercession ” on American Family Radio, says while churches do a lot, they need to do more to support local pro-life pregnancy centers.
“I recently had a chance to speak with the staff of one of the busiest pregnancy centers in the state of Mississippi,” Pastor Parker shares. “They recently found out that they had in their immediate community somewhere around 500 and something churches. And I asked them what kind of support they were getting from the local church, and sadly, this staff person kind of chuckled. They said they get support from 13 churches.”
Parker says a good number of churches do not know much about pro-life pregnancy centers and what they do for their community.
“Churches could easily help to give lots of diapers to pregnancy clinics, baby items which normally they give away for free,” the pastor suggests. “Every pregnancy clinic I’ve ever known of is always giving all these services for free, no charge at all.”
He adds that a church could help raise money to fund sonograms, which help clinics save the lives of preborn babies who might otherwise be terminated.

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
For us to continue to deliver the truth that Americans need to read and hear, we ask you, our amazing audience, for financial assistance. We have a Giving Fuel page to help us pay the bills. It’s brand new so don’t be discouraged by the lack of donations there. It’s a funny reality that the fewer the donations that have been made, the less likely people are willing to donate to it. One would think this is counterintuitive, but sometimes people are skeptical because they think that perhaps there’s a reason others haven’t been donating. In our situation, we’re just getting started so please don’t be shy if you have the means to help.
Thank you and God bless!
