Following the official release of an erroneous World Health Organization report on the origins of COVID-19 (which was first approved by Communist China) on Tuesday, and a subsequent NewsBusters report calling them out, ABC’s World News Tonight was forced to backpedal its support for the conclusions that cleared the murderous regime of culpability after the WHO General Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus cast doubt on the findings.
Meanwhile, on NBC Nightly News, senior international correspondent Keir Simmons continued to pound away at the WHO, using the facts surrounding the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and China’s censorship of the truth.
For ABC’s coverage, anchor David Muir pushed China’s approved story and acted surprised that there would be criticism of the WHO’s findings:

They’re Trying to Shut Us Down
Over the last several months, I’ve lost count of how many times the powers-that-be have tried to shut us down. They’ve sent hackers at us, forcing us to take extreme measures on web security. They sent attorneys after us, but thankfully we’re not easily intimidated by baseless accusations or threats. They’ve even gone so far as to make physical threats. Those can actually be a bit worrisome but Remington has me covered.
